ABOUT US

What Is a Fraternal Benefit Society?

Fraternals are not-for-profit membership organizations formed under a common bond of insurance protection as well as volunteer and social opportunities. There are currently four fraternals that were domiciled in the State of Wisconsin, including Thrivent Financial, Catholic Financial, National Mutual Benefit, and the EMBA.

These four fraternals, along with 43 other fraternals licensed to do business in Wisconsin and Michigan, have over 640,000 members who contribute to their communities through their local chapters; when a disaster strikes, local chapter members band together to help those in need.
